In January 2008 the Texas Bible Chair Foundation began sponsoring the Clergy Leadership Institute as part of its commitment to offering continuing educational opportunities for clergy and lay leaders of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the central Texas area. Five meetings were held during 2008 and 2009. Three more are planned for 2010. Disciples of Christ clergy and licensed ministers are invited. Lay leaders considering the ministry as a calling are also welcome.

The next Clergy Leadership Institute will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, at University Christian Church, 2007 University Avenue, Austin, Texas, 78705. For information on the Institute, please call the TBCF office at (512) 477-6104.
