Lessons and Carols Service

As we progress through Advent, we prepare ourselves for Christmas by singing together and listening to the historic words of faith that mark our tradition. All are welcome to come, listen, and learn about our understanding of Christmas.

Amphion Choir Performance

Join us for a special Christmas benefit concert. All proceeds will benefit Micah 6 Austin. University Christian Church will be accepting monetary donations as well as canned food items for Micah 6 Austin’s pantry.

Through choral song and spoken word, Amphion Choir annually presents a Dynamic Vocal Event. Performances consist of World Music, works by Contemporary Composers, and Popular Song. Amphion is an Austin-based community of musicians aged 15-23 years old. Amphion is committed to producing a series of innovative concert experiences throughout the year.

Final Sunday in Advent Service

We hear Mary’s exclamation “My soul magnifies the Lord” as she comes to understand how God will be blessing so many, and we rejoice with her.

Christmas Eve Celebration

5:30 pm Christmas Eve Concert

Come and worship with us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus – born on the outskirts, to poor immigrant parents, into a life of both perfection and hardship. This service will also feature our excellent choir and a traditional reading of the Christmas narrative. Bring the whole family to enjoy a special night together.

6:00 pm Candlelight Communion Service

Enchanted with favorite carols in candlelit beauty, we welcome Christ into the world and into our lives with scripture and the sharing of Communion. Service will include the lighting of candles, though options are available for those averse to fire. Contact us for more information.
