We’re glad you found UCC.
We focus on common ground. You’ll find us to be refreshingly open-minded, rather than rigidly dogmatic. We extend the grace-filled love of Christ to all persons, without exception, regardless of race, gender, class, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or disability.
Music is a strong and vital part of our worship. Our beautiful sanctuary is acoustically exceptional, highlighting the soaring voices, talented musicians, and majestic pipe organ. Our Chancel Choir is comprised of volunteers and UT music students.
We’re Kid Friendly
There’s a Children’s Moment in our Sunday service, plus childcare available during the service. Or if you’d rather stay with your young ones, our sanctuary offers glider chairs. For older children, we have an active youth group.
Our mid-century building is directly across from The University Of Texas At Austin, and features work from noted Austin sculptor Charles Umlauf as well as exquisite stained glass windows.
Sunday service is at 10:50 a.m. in the main sanctuary.
There is a side door to the right of the double doors which is accessible for anyone using mobility assistance equipment (including wheelchairs, walkers, etc.).
Our free parking lot, Premier Parking (formerly SP+), is on University Avenue and W. 20th Street, directly north of the AT&T Conference Center. There are designated University Christian Church spots and a parking attendant on Sundays to assist you.
Handicap parking spaces are available on W. 21st Street, directly in front of the sanctuary. Parking vouchers are available for overflow parking at Dobie garage.
