University Christian Church is a dynamic, inclusive community that serves Austin, Texas by actively living out the love of Jesus Christ through thoughtful worship, compassionate service, and spiritual growth. Our denominational home is the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
University Christian Church extends the grace-filled love of Christ to all persons, without exception, regardless of race, gender, class, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or disability. We invite all to join us as we grow in our faith, gathering together to engage the Divine and encounter Christ in meaningful, challenging, and joyful ways.
We take seriously God’s call to offer deep and wide welcome to all of God’s beloved.
Our mid-century building is directly across from The University Of Texas At Austin and features work from noted Austin sculptor Charles Umlauf as well as exquisite stained glass windows and a pipe organ.
