Holy Week & Easter 2025

April 3, 2025 University Christian

All are invited to join University Christian Church as we draw near to God during Holy Week. Read on for the details about each opportunity for worship and fellowship.

Palm Sunday, April 13:

  • Worship in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. Holy Week begins with Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We will sing songs of loudest praise and shout "Hosanna!" as we wave palm branches.

Maundy Thursday, April 17:

  • Worship and snack supper in the fellowship hall at 6:30 p.m. On Maundy Thursday, we remember the Last Supper, where Jesus gave us the sacrament of communion. We will gather around tables in the fellowship hall. As you feel comfortable, you will have the chance to wash one another's hands, share in a snack supper (nuts, fruit, crackers, and cheese), and partake in communion.

Easter Sunday, April 20:

On Easter, join us for a morning of joy as we rejoice that Christ is risen!

  • Potluck Brunch, Fellowship Hall, 9:30 a.m.

  • Easter Egg Hunt, UT South Lawn, after brunch

  • Worship, Sanctuary, 11:00 a.m.

  • Coffee Fellowship & Pictures, after worship.

Before or after the service, bring some freshly cut flowers to add to the flowering cross in the courtyard, a pretty place for family photos.
