Half Marathon Traffic Guide

The Austin International Half Marathon takes place this Sunday, January 19 and will disrupt the flow of traffic near UCC and the surrounding area.

To Access the Rowling Hall Garage

  • From Points East of University Ave: Take I-35. Exit at 11th St. Go west on 11th St. Take a right on Lavaca St. and a left on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Then, take a right on Guadalupe St. and a right on 20th St.

  • From Points West of University Ave: Take Lamar Blvd. Turn onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and head east. Take a left on Guadalupe St. and a right on 20th St.

From the Garage

You'll need to cross the half-marathon route. Walk to the intersection of 20th and University Ave. When you arrive, let the traffic officer know you are attending worship at UCC. The officer will lead you across University Ave. to the church.

For ADA Parking

  • ~9:30 a.m. arrival: Take Guadalupe St. to 21st St., turn onto 21st St., and park at the southwest corner of University and 21st (in front of the University Catholic Center.) You'll need to cross the half-marathon route. Let the traffic officer know you are attending worship at UCC. The officer will lead you across University Ave. to the church.

  • ~11:00 a.m. arrival: Either park in the same spots as the 9:30 arrival or check with the traffic officer about crossing the half-marathon route to park in the accessible spots in front of UCC.
